Cold calling is becoming a thing of history, people do not want to have things forced onto them, they are like this because of so many bad experiences. But this article is really just about one type of cold calling and that is for SEO services, a vast amount of companies invest so much money but it just does not work?

In my belief it does not, SEO is still at its babyhood and a vast quantity of people still do not genuinely know what it is fully, hence by cold calling someone you are going to have a heck of a mountain to climb when it comes to converting them and keeping them as long terms clients.

SEO in my judgement should ideally be all about word of mouth referrals and traffic coming to your site, but not any type of traffic, it should fundamentally be organic, so let’s have a look at the reasons why these two options are better.

Referrals are sometimes the best form of clients that you can get and they are more then likely to stick with you for the long term. I say this because of the fact that they have probably spoke to someone who received great results from you, so know exactly how long they need to wait and know that you are probably going to deliver a great deal.

Organic Search Referrals

This is actually another way in which clients will stick with you, if a client cannot find your website through the organic listings, what hope does that leave for them? Any agency should be constantly working on their organic listings in order to secure a place in the Top 10 for their company.
