There is no doubting the fact that everybody loves to go on holiday, but easily the worst part about the entire trip is the airport.

When it comes to airports, 9/11 has done us no favours as the delays seem even longer and people are even more stressed than they were before. The worst thing about the airport has got to be all the security checks that we have to endure. It is totally understandable that everybody must put their bags through the scanner as nobody wants something awful happening to the plane, but do they have to treat everybody like criminals and be so rude?

On top of this, they seem to really enjoy throwing your baggage around as much as they can? Whenever you see your baggage at the airport it is either being thrown by a person or by a machine. When the luggage comes down the belt at your destination, there never seems to be any padding, meaning all your valuables will more than likely be broken.

Passengers trying to get on board the plane first are such a big pain. Why even bother? Passengers like to try and get on first, even when their row number has not been called. This in turn upsets the people who have been called, as they are then stuck at the back of an unnecessary queue. Why do they always do this? The plane will go when all passengers are on board and not before, surely the less time you spend on the plane the better as by now you would have already read the paper/magazines and worked your way through your entire playlist on your Mp3 player.

If you want to get to your favourite destination, unfortunately this is something you have to deal with. If this all happens to you just remember that you are off on holiday whether that is on one of thoseUSA tours or anAlaskan cruise you are sure to have a good time. That is of course if you have managed to get through the airport in the first place!
