A Guide For Choosing The Right Sunglasses
In the current day and age, with our lives surrounded by designer fashion and global warming, having a suitable pair of sunglasses is required for both. A good pair of sunglasses will finish off your outfit and they can also sometimes cover up your eyes after a night on the town. As for the global warming side of matters, as the Earths temperature is getting hotter, your eyes are constantly in need of protection from damaging UV rays.
So now that I have justified the reasons for buying sunglasses, you now have the difficult decision of which ones to buy. Now that’s the difficult part.
Just like when you have to choose normal eye glasses, the decision starts with the shape of your face. There are 2 main face shapes, oval and round. A round face is where the width and length of the face are very similar and generally, round faced people are aware that they have a round face. As for the other shape, oval, if you don’t think you’re a round faced person, then you’re most likely oval faced and this is simply where the length is longer than the width.
Once you have figured out which shape face you have, you can then choose a shape for your sunglasses. If you think you have a rounded face then you would be best off with a rectangle or square frame. Unfortunately, if you have a round face you are slightly limited because many companies don’t design rectangular sunglasses.
If you have more of an oval face, you are not really limited as pretty much anything will suite your face. You are not limited by any shape or size, you can opt for the bigger styles like celebrities, or maybe something a little smaller is more your taste, either one will look right.Police sunglasses or maybe a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.
There are a couple of other face shapes that you may fit into if you don’t see yourself as an oval or a circle. If you have more of a heart shaped face then you would be best suited to some thin rimmed aviation style glasses. Finally, if you seem to have more of a square face, you should go for some curved glasses as you don’t want to add anymore angles to your face.
Hopefully this guide will help you next time you go to buy your sunglasses. Remember though, just because you payed alot of money for your designer glasses, it doesn’t mean they give you enough protection from the sun. Make sure they have a sticker on them saying how well they really do protect you and look to see whether they are CR39 lenses which complies by the European guidelines.
