New Art Exhibition encourages people to bring their own furniture

July 26th next year will see the release of a brand new show for the Greenwich Gallery. The art show will be hosting Sit-in, a chance for artists of any level to show off their work. In order to get this new type of show running and working each artist is required to bring their own bit of furniture to sit on.

This doesnt necessarily mean that you should go out there and buy office furniture and bring it down or even bring in your executive office seating in from your work. Instead the gallery is recommending that people bring in their own blankets or benches to the event which only lasts half an hour.

In a bid to help the local art community the various photographers and artists that will be in attendance will be given the chance to mix ideas and swap photos.

This is a very unique opportunity for aspiring designers and artists alike to show off their work in a large art gallery for absolutely nothing! In order to show your work you dont even need to go through any of the red tape of getting your work to feature in a gallery such as this. This is a great opportunity for many people.

The gallery has never seen anything like this before and are not sure what they might expect. With any luck there will be a wide variety of people of all ages present at the show including a very bizzarre collection of furniture for people to sit on.

It is important to remember that the show is not solely focused on office seating but the art that people are mixing with each other.Normally, this level of interaction brings out the best in some young artists and is a great opportunity for people to mingle with eachtother.
